GARIOCH SPORTS CENTRE - TENNIS BALL FUNDRAISER

Now the dust has settled, we have had time to reflect on our amazing Tennis Ball fundraising event from last weekend - Saturday 16th October 2021.

With over 300 in attendance for the evening of entertainment which kicked off with a flawless 3 course meal, followed by quite a brilliant Q&A with our special guest @judymurray_ delivered by our compere for the evening Steven J Innes.

One lucky person on the night won the diamond necklace valued at £1200 kindly donated by our friends at @sinclairsjewellers .  We had an incredible raffle on offer for the evening which was generously supported by individuals and businesses across Inverurie and beyond. These donations and prizes allowed us to sell a huge number of tickets which went towards our fundraising efforts on the night. We are sure some of you woke up very happy with your prizes!

Thank you to our auctioneer Colin Slessor and those who supported the auctions on offer. We managed to raise over £8k from it alone which is quite remarkable. 

Thank you to Alex, Vicki & the team at Thainstone Events, the room looked great and your help in organising helped make the event what it was.

Last but no means least a big thank you to the band on the night @waterfrontband WOW! The dance floor was packed all night. It was amazing to see so many smiles on faces as you danced the night away. 

We are delighted to share with you all that thanks to your support we have raised £20,000 towards our charitable community sports and leisure facilities. This will go towards our ambitions to build a 3-court indoor tennis facility here at the centre. A regionally recognised facility and the first of its kind in Aberdeenshire.

Taste of Grampian Food Festival

On behalf of both the Taste of Grampian Steering Group and Prime Events I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valuable contribution to Taste of Grampian.

Steven was kind enough to be our master of ceremonies at the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter Corporate Golf Day held at Close House Golf Course in September 2021.
